Mirra Andreeva, all of 19 years old, secured her first Grand Slam as she dominated Maja Chwalinska, defeating iher in straight sets in the final to win the French Open 2026 women’s singles title. She thus ended the fairytale run of Chwalinska, who had become the first player to enter the final of the major Grand Slam at Roland Garros after entering through the qualifier rounds.
