According to the statistics, the number of women qualifying for IITs has witnessed a sharp increase of nearly 89 per cent, from 5,356 to 10,107, since 2019. During the same period, women’s participation in the engineering entrance test rose by about 22 per cent, from 33,249 to 40,562.
