Bernalillo County Fire & Rescue said 11 apparatus and 40 personnel have been assigned to the incident, with additional support from Albuquerque Fire Rescue and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office. Thick smoke from the fire could be seen across the South Valley, prompting the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Air Quality Program to issue a Health Alert that remains in effect until 6 AM Wednesday.
