Kumar Sangakkara didn’t mince his words and slammed Sam Curran for missing IPL 2026 due to a suspected groin injury. The England all-rounder left Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and joined Rajasthan Royals (RR) via trade before the IPL 2026 mini-auction. More than a week before the start of IPL, he was ruled out. Curran, though, made his return for Surrey in the Vitality T20I Blast on 22nd May and has played three games for them so far. Though he is playing as a specialist batter and hasn’t bowled in the tournament yet.
