At the previous edition of the Pickleball World Cup held in Florida, United States, India made its first appearance as a national contingent under the IPA. The country put up a commendable performance, securing 25 medals, including eight gold, eight silver and nine bronze medals, to finish seventh. India was the only Asian country to finish in the top 10 of the medal tally.
