Arjun Sarja’s latest action entertainer Blast has begun its theatrical run on an ‘explosive’ note, collecting Rs 1 crore nett in India on its opening day. Directed by debutant Subash K Raj, the film features Preity Mukhundhan and Abhirami in key roles and was released across 1,022 shows. The movie registered an overall occupancy of 26 percent, with Tamil Nadu emerging as its strongest market.
