Gujarat Titans (GT) were defeated by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2026 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, as the defending champions reached the final for the second time in a row. The GT Batting completely faltered chasing a mammoth target of 255 runs. Sai Sudharsan, who was coming into the match on the back of four 50+ scores was expected to perform. However, some pretty bad luck struck for the left-handed batter as he was dismissed in the most bizarre manner possible. In fact, this made Sudharsan the holder of a unique record in IPL history.
