Arjun Tendulkar, son of Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, has finally made his debut for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2026. He has been included in the final XI for LSG’s last league stage game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Ekana Stadium. LSG have already crashed out of IPL 2026 and a win or defeat won’t have any impact on them. All eyes are now on Arjun and his performance will be closely monitored. Arjun joined LSG via trade before the IPL 2026 mini-auction.
Arjun has a salary of Rs 30 lakh in IPL 2026. He re-signed with Mumbai Indians (MI) for Rs 30 lakh at the IPL 2025 mega-auction and was traded to LSG for the same amount.
Arjun Tendulkar’s IPL career
Arjun Tendulkar kicked off his IPL career with MI in 2021. He joined the franchise at his base price of Rs 20 lakh in the IPL 2021 mini-auction. He stayed on the bench in the season.
MI re-signed him for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2022 mega-auction. Gujarat Titans had also made one bid for him. Arjun finally made his IPL debut in 2023 and scalped 3 wickets in four matches he played.
The left-arm pacer only played one match under Hardik Pandya’s captaincy in IPL 2024. MI re-signed him in the IPL 2025 mega-auction, but kept him on the bench.
Arjun only got to play one match in IPL 2026. He would aim to make a big impact to make sure that he gets regular chances from IPL 2027.
