Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the last league game, but still managed to secure a top-two finish after winning nine out of the 15 matches. Chasing 256, RCB scored 200-4 in 20 overs and lost the game by 55 runs. It was a monumental target, no doubt, but scores of 250 were chased in the IPL 2026 before. But RCB played it safe as the top two finish was the priority.
