Safdarjung, Delhi’s base weather station, recorded a maximum temperature of 43.3 degrees Celsius on Friday, which was 3.1 notches above normal. The minimum temperature settled at 29.3 degrees Celsius. Ridge recorded the highest temperature in the city at 44.4 degrees Celsius, while Palam, Lodi Road and Ayanagar also reported temperatures above 43 degrees Celsius.
