The case for alleged NEET paper leak was registered by the CBI on May 12, 2026, following a written complaint from the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education (MoE) regarding the alleged leak of the NEET UG 2026 question paper. Following the registration of the case, special investigation teams were formed and searches were carried out across the country. So far, 11 accused have been arrested in this case from Delhi, Jaipur, Gurugram, Nasik, Pune, Latur and Ahliyanagar.
