A Lucknow University assistant professor has been arrested for allegedly making “objectionable” phone calls to a female student, claiming to have leaked examination papers for her, the officials told PTI on Saturday. The accused, 40-year-old Paramjeet Singh, assistant professor in the Zoology Department, allegedly called a BSc final-year student on the nights of May 14-15 and “pressured” her to meet him before the examination.
