India’s two-wheeler market is preparing for a major expansion with several upcoming launches from Royal Enfield, Ather and Ultraviolette. New products expected over the next few months include the Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric, Flying Flea S6 scrambler, Ather EL platform-based scooter, Ultraviolette Shockwave motorcycle and Tesseract electric scooter. What makes these launches important is the clear shift happening in the EV market. Earlier, most electric two-wheelers focused mainly on affordability and city commuting.
