Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram Wednesday morning, and later discharged, Congress MP Jairam Ramesh said. While there has been no official statement from the Congress regarding her condition, reports said the 79-year-old leader was admitted for a minor surgical procedure.
