Soon after the trailer launch of Raja Shivaji in Mumbai on April 20, videos and photos of both Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh turning emotional started going viral. While Riteish was full of gratitude for his team, who stood like a rock for his passion project. Starring a remarkable ensemble starcast including Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, and Amole Gupte, along with his wife Genelia Deshmukh. The film, written and directed by Riteish, is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire. While the trailer received mostly positive reviews, Genelia’s tearful moment at the launch became the talk of the town.
