Since Trump returned to office a year and a half ago, Netanyahu has now visited the Oval Office more times than any other world leader, having met with Trump there six separate occasions. Despite that frequency, Netanyahu’s standing in Washington has slipped considerably. He’s currently viewed unfavorably not just by Democrats, but also within Trump’s own inner circle and among the MAGA base.
