Speaking during the tournament, Tourism Selangor Chief Executive Officer Chua Yee Ling said destinations need to offer more than traditional tourism products to attract visitors. She described pickleball as a sport that has “successfully transcended barriers of age, background and skill level,” creating an active and inclusive community while opening new opportunities for sports tourism.
