She added, “Writing such things is impacting the mental health of children. When we questioned the management, they said it was mandatory. I then asked why the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana or Bible were not mandatory.” While welcoming the school’s decision to terminate the teacher concerned, she said measures should be taken to ensure such incidents do not recur.
