According to an investigation executed by the Bloomberg team, the app has been practicing ‘cookie stuffing’ for a very long time now to claim affiliate commissions on purchases it did not directly generate. The brand has since said that they have fixed the issue after it was brought to its attention. The fresh allegations have drawn a lot of attention to cookie stuffing, which is a practice that has also surfaced in past investigations used by different platforms to sneakily earn money.
