Maharashtra News Live: A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Hingoli district in Maharashtra’s Marathwada region on Thursday morning, with tremors also felt in the neighbouring districts of Parbhani and Nanded.
The earthquake triggered panic among residents, many of whom rushed out of their homes after experiencing mild shaking. Some reported utensils rattling inside their houses as the tremors passed through the region.
According to initial reports, the epicentre of the earthquake was located in Hingoli district. Authorities, however, said there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property.
