Boreing said Shapiro did not maintain a separate security operation, explaining that security services were provided by the same firm for multiple clients. According to him, security personnel were informed of the shooting almost immediately and coordinated with Turning Point USA while also checking on the safety of other protected individuals, including Owens herself.
