On the issue of Waqf land, Ajmal appealed against invoking the name of Lord Ram to justify illegal acts. “Do not do such things in the name of Lord Ram. Do not bring disrepute to his name. If thieves and criminals enter, they will naturally tarnish that name. Such people are like Ravana, not Ram. Ram ko badnam mat karo,” he said.
