CBSE's Big Relief To Students, Allows Physical Inspection Of Answer Sheets After 'No-Change' Verification Process

cbse gives major relief to students, allows physical inspection of answer sheets after 'no-change' verification process

In a significant relief for students, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a first-of-its-kind measure allowing candidates to physically inspect their answer books at CBSE Regional Offices even after receiving a “no-change” result in the answer sheet verification process.

The move comes in response to concerns raised by students who remained dissatisfied despite undergoing verification and revaluation of their answer sheets. Until now, students whose marks remained unchanged after verification had no option to physically examine their evaluated answer books.

Sources told Times Now that the new provision is aimed at addressing all concerns of the students and to tackle any dissatisfaction related to the board’s evaluation process.

Physical Inspection Of Answer Sheets Now Allowed

Students who receive a “no-change” outcome after answer sheet verification will now be able to visit designated CBSE Regional Offices and inspect their answer books in person. The facility is expected to provide greater clarity on the marking process and help resolve doubts regarding evaluation.

The initiative marks a major shift in CBSE’s post-result grievance redressal framework and is likely to benefit thousands of students seeking greater transparency in the assessment process.

CBSE Class 12 Re-Evaluation Results Out

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday began releasing the outcomes of Class 12 verification of marks, photocopy requests, and re-evaluation applications submitted after the declaration of board examination results.

According to board officials, the results for nearly 87 per cent of students who applied under these post-result processes have been made available on the official portal, results.digilocker.gov.in. The remaining cases are expected to be completed shortly.
