In a separate incident that happened on Monday in West Bengal, a massive fire broke out at a hotel situated next to a police station in Tarapith. At least eight people have reportedly died after being trapped inside the building as the flames quickly engulfed the premises. With rescue operations still underway, there are concerns that the death toll could rise.
