Ansiba Hassan, who previously served as the joint secretary of AMMA, has alleged that the remarks made against her were communal in nature and part of a larger campaign to target and isolate her within the artists’ body. Speaking to reporters after appearing before the police, Ansiba said that she learned about the comments through actress Neena Kurup, who had allegedly heard them directly. Addressing questions about why she chose to act on remarks she did not personally hear, Ansiba expressed confidence in Neena’s account.
