Child Malnutrition Falls, But Lifestyle Diseases Are Surging, National Family Health Survey Reveals

India has recorded major improvements in child nutrition, maternal healthcare, and immunisation coverage over the past few years, according to the latest findings from the National Family Health Survey-6 (NFHS-6). However, experts have warned that rising obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and lifestyle diseases are now emerging as serious public health concerns across the country.
