This however, cannot be truly achieved without focus. For this, still tall and close your eyes, gently rolling your inner gaze (you’ll know what that means once you start dabbling with meditation) towards the space between your brows. Imagine a glowing indigo or violet light, which happens to be the presiding colour, emanating from your forehead. If keeping your eyes open feels better, staring softly at a candle flame and shutting your eyes to visualise the indigo light in intervals may also work well. Something that also works well, is Nadi Shodhana – alternate breathing through each nostril to calm your nervous system, as well as Bhramari – or the ‘humming bee breath’ where in you inhale deeply and hum softly on the exhale, creating gentle but moving vibrations in your head. Resting the body in child’s pose, dream journaling to make sense of your intuitive cues and how accurate they are (or how accurate they’re getting!) as well a general predominant sense of quiet reflection is also recommended.
