The fatal crash has also drawn a response from Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, who said she had travelled extensively with Security Aviation in the past. Murkowski expressed condolences to those aboard and their loved ones, while thanking the US Coast Guard, NTSB, Alaska State Troopers and Rescue Coordination Center for responding to the scene.
