The photograph shows a young Kangana, dressed in a traditional red sari, as Sita in a stage performance based on the Ramayana. Another student, playing Lord Ram, stands beside her and a classmate dressed as Hanuman kneels before them with folded hands to re-enact one of the iconic moments from the story.
