The IMD has issued a Red Alert for Ahmedabad, Vadodara and several other districts, including Botad, Jamnagar, Anand, Bharuch, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Fishermen have also been advised not to venture into the sea for the next two days due to adverse weather conditions.
