According to the Ministry, the recruitment includes 18,757 faculty positions. Of the total posts filled, 3,851 were from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 1,643 from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, 6,785 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category and 1,191 from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category.
