Former India cricketer Parthiv Patel took a shot at the Pakistan cricket team following the announcement of the Cricket World Cup 2027 schedule by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday. 12 teams, split into Groups A and B, will compete in the main event. There are six teams in each group. Pakistan has been placed in Group A with Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Australia, and India. The five teams in the group will be joined by Qualifier A. Each group’s top three teams advance to the Super 7 stage. The remaining seventh slot will go to the top fourth-place team from both groups.
