The strikes damaged the Trypilska power plant, the largest supplier of electricity to Kyiv. Russia’s Defence Ministry confirmed that the facility was among its targets, claiming it supplied electricity to Ukrainian defence facilities. The plant’s operator, Centrenergo, said it was assessing the extent of the damage.
