As the syllabus for Classes 10 and 12 nears completion, many students are pondering when the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the subject-wise date sheet for the upcoming board examinations. Over the past three years, the board has published the timetables in three different months instead of following a consistent pattern.
In 2025, the CBSE date sheet was released on October 30; in 2024, it was released on November 20, while in 2023, the board issued the timetable on December 12, 2023.
Although the board has not been adhering to a consistent trend, students can expect their date sheets in late October based on last year’s trend.

When to Expect CBSE Admit Cards 2027?
The board generally releases the Class 10 and 12 admit cards one or two weeks before the scheduled examination date. Students are required to carry their hall tickets along with a government-approved ID proof for entry.
As only a few months are left for the commencement of the CBSE board examinations 2027, students are advised to ramp up their preparation and focus on timely recall instead of constantly exploring new books or topics.
The board released the sample papers for both Class 10 and 12 examinations a few days ago. Students can solve them and the previous year’s question papers to comprehend the test pattern and question types.
