After winning two gold medals on the 10th day, India will aim for more gold on the 11th day of the Asian Games. Neeru Dhanda ended the country’s wait and won the first individual gold at the 2026 Asian Games. She was admitted to a hospital in Delhi due to illness and only landed in Japan after the Asiad started. Later in day, the women’s relay team created history by winning gold in the 4x400m final event.
