According to reports, an Assam Rifles patrol team came under attack near Nampong Nallah. The soldier who lost his life has been identified as 42-year-old Havildar Jankhokai Kuki. Following the attack, security forces launched operations in the area to track down the suspected militants.. The entire area has been cordoned off.
