The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) today (September 28) commenced the online applications for various paramedical positions across Indian Railways. Interested candidates can visit the regional websites of the board to apply for the positions notified under CEN 05/26.
As per the official notification, candidates have time till 11:59 pm of October 14 to apply for the government job. The last date to pay the application fee is October 16, 2026 (Friday). Following this, the application correction window will open on October 17 and will continue till October 26, 2026.

However, the exam dates have not been announced yet. The dates for the Computer-based Test (CBT) and other exam-related announcements will be shared in due course through the official RRB website.
RRB Paramedical Vacancies
The exam is being conducted for a total of 590 vacancies.
- Nursing Superintendent: 365 vacancies
- Dialysis Technician: 1 vacancy
- Health & Malaria Inspector Gr II: 43 vacancies
- Audiologist & Speech Therapist: 1 vacancy
- Pharmacist (Entry Grade): 118 vacancies
- Radiographer X-Ray Technician: 25 vacancies
- ECG Technician: 4 vacancies
- Optometrist: 2 vacancies
- Lab Assistant Gr. II: 31 vacancies
- Total: 590 vacancies
The RRB examination fee is Rs 500 for general candidates, of which Rs 400 will be refunded after appearing in the CBT, while SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender and EBC candidates have to pay Rs 250, which will also be refunded after appearing in the CBT, after applicable bank charges. Only candidates who appear for the CBT will receive the refund.
