Recent years saw Green move away from novels. ‘The Anthropocene Reviewed’, published in 2021, and ‘Everything Is Tuberculosis’ in 2025 both took him into nonfiction. ‘Hollywood, Ending’, released on 22 September 2026, marks his return to fiction. At the Brooklyn launch, Green discussed the new book, answered questions from readers and performed a reading before receiving his Guinness World Records certificate.
