Manu Bhaker, who won two bronze medals in the 2026 Paris Olympics and missed another by the barest of margins with a fourth-place finish, failed to make the final of the individual event after finishing 11th. This meant that she finished this edition of the Asian Games without even a single medal to her name. Earlier, she had finished 5th in the Women’s 10m air pistol event final, while the Indian women’s team had failed to secure a medal in that event too.
