Virat Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing record and became the quickest batter to score 15,000 ODI runs. Kohli breached the 15,000-run mark in only 303 innings while Sachin took 377 innings. Kohli achieved the milestone in the first ODI of the three-match series against West Indies, which took place on Sunday (September 27). After breaking Sachin’s record, Kohli equalled another record owned by Sachin and is set to overtake him soon. Kohli, who remained unbeaten on 139 off 88 balls, now has 60 centuries in List A cricket. Sachin also finished his List A career with 60 tons.
