Crucially, the federation stressed it is not seeking to influence findings or attribute blame, but wants its technical submissions independently examined against the evidence and any rejections formally explained. Among its requests: a seat for a senior pilot on the review committee, access to relevant portions of the draft report, and an assurance that no conclusions on crew actions or human factors are finalised without professional pilot input. FIP has also sought an early personal hearing with the Minister.
