Meanwhile, in another tragedy that struck Greater Noida, nine people lost their lives after a fire broke out on a double-decker sleeper bus on the Yamuna Expressway late Wednesday night. The blaze erupted near the 33-km mark around 11:30 pm on September 23, while the bus, operated by Raj Kalpana Travels, was travelling from Delhi’s Kashmere Gate to Mahoba. According to police, the bus did not have a scheduled stop in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
