Weighing in on LSR’s shift to digital mode following the incident, RJD MP Manoj Jha, in an interview with PTI, said, “To put it bluntly, stating that offline classes are being shifted online because safety and security cannot be guaranteed is akin to the recent decision by IITs to replace ceiling fans with wall fans. You are simply refusing to address the root cause of the disease and instead relying on cosmetic, superficial measures to turn it into news. This is deeply concerning to me because despite all the grand claims made about initiatives like ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,’ everything has collapsed completely on the ground.”
