Hyundai has opened bookings for the Bayon in India ahead of its planned festive season launch. The upcoming 4.2-metre SUV can now be reserved for Rs 11,000. It will be sold with a petrol powertrain and two transmission choices: a manual and Hyundai’s Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). The Bayon also brings an in-built generative AI voice assistant, while its Global K Enhanced Platform has been engineered for 5-star Indian safety standards, according to Hyundai. The company has not yet announced the SUV’s price or delivery schedule, which will be revealed on the launch date.
