The Food Safety Branch also inspected 14 hostel kitchens and canteens as part of a special statewide drive to check food safety standards. The inspected premises included Youth Hostel Geeta Residency in Raysan, GIDM canteen, Saurashtra Kadva Patidar Samaj Hostel, EDI Bhath canteen, Adarsh Residential School, NID Gandhinagar, Utkarsh Hostel, Annapurna Dham Hostel, IAR canteen, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya canteen, NIFT campus canteen and DAIICT campus, among others.
