Chinmayi Sripaada, who has consistently spoken out against social injustices, has reacted to the arrest of granite businessman R Veeramani in a POCSO case involving allegations of sexual exploitation of minors. Her comments came as the Greater Chennai Police began questioning the 85-year-old businessman after securing three-day custody in connection with the case. Police have indicated that the alleged offences could date back to 2003 or even earlier, based on evidence gathered during the investigation.
