The first sale of Apple’s latest iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max is now live across India with Apple Stores in the country welcoming customers. We got hold of the first buyer in Delhi, who was waiting in line to get his hands on the new iPhone 18 Pro Max at the Select Citywalk Mall In Saket. Speaking to Times Now Tech, he shared why he chose the 1TB model, why he upgrades every year and which colour he picked.
The buyer said he was feeling good about being among the first people to buy the new iPhone 18 Pro series. When asked which model he was planning to purchase, he said, “18 Pro Max, 1TB.”
Explaining why he chose the 1TB storage variant, he said that his phone storage is almost full most of the time. However, when asked why he did not go for the 2TB model, he said the higher storage option was too costly and that he did not need more than 1TB.
The buyer was upgrading from the iPhone 17 Pro Max. He also revealed that he had already sold his previous phone a day before buying the new model.
When asked why he was buying the iPhone 18 Pro Max instead of continuing with the iPhone 17 Pro Max, he said, “I’m already using 17 Pro Max, that’s why I’m buying.”
The buyer also confirmed that he plans to upgrade to the iPhone 19 Pro next year. When asked if he upgrades his iPhone every year, he replied, “Yeah, every year.”
Talking about the colour he selected, the buyer said he was going for Burgundy. He chose the colour because he found it unique.
The buyer said he had been waiting for around one hour and had also pre-booked the phone. The buyer also picked both camera and performance when asked which one mattered more to him.
iPhone 18 Pro Max Price In India
Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max comes at a starting price of Rs 1,79,900 for the base 256GB variant while the 512GB variant comes at a price of Rs 2,04,900. Meanwhile, the 1TB and 2TB variants are priced at Rs 2,54,900 and Rs 3,29,900, respectively.
