Earlier, Rahman was scheduled to visit Inida for the BRICS Summit. However, his visit was cancelled. Earlier this month, Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir said that Bangladesh wanted to “reset” its relationship with India and build a new bilateral engagement based on mutual interests.
