Gold Rate Today (September 18, 2026): Gold prices begain the trading day on a flat note. Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange opened at 1.52 lakh per 10 grams. According to goodreturns.in, today’s gold price in India stands at Rs 15,442 per gram for 24 karat gold (99.9% purity), Rs 14,155 per gram for 22 karat gold (91.6% purity), and Rs 11,582 per gram for 18 karat gold (75% purity). In the previous session, gold prices fell by Rs 600 to Rs 1.55 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital as weak domestic demand weighed on the precious metal. “Gold edged lower on Thursday, tracking overnight weakness in international markets after the Federal Reserve delivered a hawkish policy message,” Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst-Commodities at HDFC Securities told PTI.
