During the hearing, the ASG claimed that 25-30 per cent voting was completed at the time of the submission, and he also submitted that the polling process had so far been largely peaceful. The ASG also claimed that there had been significantly less defacement, hoarding and usage of loudspeakers this time as compared with earlier elections, and that only one complaint had been received through the dispute redressal mechanism.
